On Saturday, November 03, 2018, 15 students and the culinary teacher from Central High School, Erin Sullivan, worked the Slam Dunk Charity Dinner at Talking Stick Resort Arena. Central students each worked their own station and together played 2000 dinners in 29 minutes. This was an invaluable experience for the students who left the event realizing this field was exactly where they wanted to be after high school. Ms. Sullivan is proud of her amazing students. She is also grateful to the chefs at Levy Restaurants for making this incredible experience happen.

The dishes for the evening were pan seared chicken breasts with chimichurri, herb roasted purple potatoes and honey Chile roasted carrots. Vegetarian option was a portabella mushroom and zucchini napoleon with roasted red pepper coulis, herb roasted purple potatoes and honey chile roasted potatoes.
