The Auto Collision and Auto Tech students were invited to the 1st annual Career Fair hosted by I-Car and the Automotive Service Association at the LKQ Corperation warehouse on Saturday. There were 40 vendors consisting of insurance companies, private shops, dealerships, and corporate businesses. It was offered to juniors and seniors from 4 high school districts and students of community college programs. They were prepared to hire our students. Students brought resumes and some were hired on the spot where others circulated through the groups and asked questions about their organization. They also were introduced to management for job shadow and internship opportunities. Most of the students were given work shirts from the Collision Repair Education Foundation. It was a great opportunity for students and employers were excited to see them. We had a great time ,some students won door prizes and were also treated to lunch.
